Cellular Telephone Centers is a Verizon Wireless Authorized Master Agent and has been in business for 20 years.
There are several advantages to being a sub agent compared to starting your business directly under Verizon as an Authorized agent. Most significantly, Verizon requires that all authorized agents meet a minimum monthly quota of activations every month. Most stores in Indiana do not meet this requirement and are constantly in a tenuous business position where Verizon could cancel their contract and they would be unable to sell Verizon phones any longer.
Being a sub agent for CTC, gives you immediate access to a line of credit to purchase phones through Verizon. A new cell phone company will often be forced to open up and operate without a line of credit for at least a year. Not having access to a credit line can increase the cost of starting up a new store by as much as 15,000.
